A series of (non-acrostic) limericks produced in response to various prompts.
These will appear on Saturday mornings wherever possible.
Let me know what you think.
I woke, and the sun was adorning
The lush countryside in the morning.
The forecast said rain
Would come back again –
Perhaps I’ll take that as a warning.
If it’s true that life is an illusion,
That might just explain my confusion.
If life is complex
It can start to vex.
Or am I just suffering delusion?
While knowledgeably politicking,
I’ve oft been accused of nit-picking.
I’m not always right,
But sometimes at night
I find it’s my own bum I’m kicking!
My maths teacher, being sadistic,
Eschewed chalk and talk for heuristic.
“If you once find it out
You will never have doubt.”
Though I thought that a tad optimistic.
Not many words rhyme with dazzling
The first that I think of is frazzling
But a newly coined word
That sounds quite absurd
Is an art form – I speak of vajazzling.
