Q is for Quokka and Quoll #AtoZChallenge

As my contribution to the A-Z blogging challenge this year, I shall be offering each day a limerick or rhyme having as its subject the day’s keyword, the keywords being based on a selection of strange, unusual or interesting animals drawn from Strange Animals blog or a-z animals website.

Quokka and Quoll

There are two beasties antipodean
Whose names start with the letter Q.
They’re strangely named Quoll and Quokka
Are they both are marsupials, too.

The Quokka’s related to wallabies,
Living in groups as they roam.
The web page describes them as browsers;
Don’t know if it’s Firefox or Chrome.

The Quoll’s a nocturnal marsupial
That’s also called the native cat.
It looks quite a lot like a feline,
Though its lifestyle is nothing like that.

For real information about the Quokka, see a-z animals
