It’s okay with one person; I just switch hands around when they cross. It can be tough with two people, though.

Have to, Derrick. Trevor (10) came from UK as a puppy, and subsequently found his way into the rescue system; we got him when he was almost three, but he’s been used to English throughout. Eos (8) is a French dog, and I’m hoping my TESOL qualifications will help her with her language skills.
