    1. It’s somewhere between Paris and Montluçon, a bit west of the road you mentioned. Next time I have to go to Paris, I’ll come back the free way and see if I can find it again.

  1. Don’t beat yourself up, Sacha; it’ll only get worse. Put yourself in a good place, relax and let it come to you. It’s like a child – the more you push it, the more it will dig its heels in and refuse to come (or was that just my children?)

  2. I love the feeling I got looking at this photo – I can’t exactly describe it, but it reminded me of weekends traveling around in the countryside of then Czechslo0vakia. The road promised an adventure.

    1. I’ve not been to any part of eastern Europe so far. My furthest venture in that direction has been Switzerland, the Franco-German border and, mustn’t forget, Venice.
      I should go further.
Thank you for your comment, Noelle. If my photograph has prompted a memory, it has exceeded what I expected of it.

  3. I love the colors on this one. Is there some sort of filter of color manipulation going on, or was the day really that blue? Lovely.

    1. I don’t manipulate the colours on my images, apart from occasionally adding a few points of vibrance. I do routinely add a touch of clarity, and use a light equaliser to extend the dynamic range in an attempt to approximate what the eye sees.
